Overview

This position is responsible for managing acquisitions of new aircrafts.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews in conjunction with Engineering previous operators AD's
  • Reviews in conjunction with MX Programs previous operators MIP Tasks
  • Confirms with Engineering the ADs that affect the aircrafts
  • Confirms with MX Programs the MIP tasks that affect the aircrafts
  • Have a weekly review with Engineering to discuss all AD's, EO's & MIP Tasks
  • Ensures awareness and assigns responsibility for AD requirements.
  • With all documents (EO, work card, etc.) completed, provide compliance info to AD Manager's
  • Verifies all AD's are setup in Trax per the EO scheduling information
  • Verifies the AD Database compliance
  • Verifies Trax Database is tracking all MIPS tasks - MX due review
  • Creates Phase-in check packages / MCS in Trax and Inform
  • Upon completion of check packages updates Trax WO
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned by the Director, Maintenance and Planning.


Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Federal Air Regulations preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in B747/B767 maintenance, planning and /or on-site service representation.
  • Working knowledge of maintenance programs, A.D., S.B. and modifications.
  • Good computer skills in excel is required.
  • Trax experience preferred
  • A & P license preferred
